All I can say is I have a passion for fishing that only a fellow angler can understand. I have been fishing for over 30 years. I went to Captains School in 2004 and became a licensed U.S.C.G. captain. During the following year, I pursued my dreams of becoming a fishing charter boat captain and shared that passion and enthusiasm for fishing with my customers. The first year of chartering exceeded my expectations like I couldn't imagine. 2006 was incredible and 2007 I was able to quit my office job to persue my dream of fishing. Besides the great fishing excursions that my clients experienced, I found my niche in life, because I am doing something I love to do.
My specialties and two favorite ways to fish are shallow water bucktailing for fluke and skinny water Striped Bass fishing. Following the bait and looking for structure has given me great success in becoming the avid and successful angler who I am today. I also make my own rods and harvest my own fresh bait.
When I'm not out fishing I can be found on the pages of Noreast Saltwaterand Noreast.com. I am their Long Island Sound Moderator and post under the name onemoredrift a.k.a. (OMD). I also did a fluke fishing show with Northeast Angling in 2006 and have another slated for 2007. Had some fun doing a video with Saltwater Outpost as well, this is a video on what happens when you don't catch fish...
